In July 2021, ZTE introduced the Exxon 30 smartphone with an under-display selfie camera.
It was the second ZTE smartphone to feature this camera technology.
The two ZTE phones are equipped with under-display camera technology and are available to the general public and no other company has been able to introduce such a phone so far.
The Exxon 30 is the world's first 400 ppi underscreen camera phone, but at the same time it's the world's first phone to have 20 GB of RAM support.
The company has added 8GB to the 12GB RAM smartphone, making it a 20GB RAM phone.
For this purpose, ZTE has used memory fusion technology which increases the power of 12 GB RAM to 20 GB.
According to ZTE, this is the first smartphone to use this technology, which can add 8 GB of RAM to the phone.
According to the company, most phones currently have 12 GB of RAM, which is not enough for some users, for which memory fusion technology increases the RAM capacity for RAM operations.
This makes smartphone and app operations work more smoothly.
The Exxon 30 FiveG comes with a 6.92-inch AMOLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support.
According to the company, the phone supports intelligent display optimization and intelligent pixel in-house.
Inside the display is a 16-megapixel camera with pixel-binding technology. The display uses a 7-layer structure to give the camera sensor more light and better image quality.
The phone has a Snapdragon 870 processor and uses 3 unique processing technologies.
The Exxon 30 has a 4200 mAh battery with 55 watt fast charging support and a triple ice cooling system.
Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port and Android 11 operating system.
There is a setup of 4 cameras on the back of the phone.
The phone's main camera is a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor, with an 8-megapixel Ultra Wide, a 5-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor camera.
The company said that the camera setup supports dual way video stabilization.
The phone is currently only available in China, with prices ranging from 2,198 yuan to 3,098 yuan.
