One of
Samsung's flagship S-series phones will be the company's first device to
feature a 200-megapixel camera.
Samsung will
launch the new foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August.
The Galaxy Z
Fold 3 will be Samsung's first phone to have a selfie camera mounted inside the
screen.
However, the
company has not forgotten the Galaxy S22 series, whose phones will be
introduced in January or February 2022.
Now a new
report claims that the Galaxy S22 series will be given a 200-megapixel camera
that will be Olympias certified, along with 4 more cameras.
Simply put,
this phone will have 5 cameras on the back.
Earlier, a
report had said that the S22 would have a 108-megapixel camera, but which of
the two reports is correct will be decided in the near future.
Apart from the
camera upgrade, the S22 series will have a Snapdragon 895 processor, while the
Exynos 2200 processor will be offered for some markets.
In addition,
AMD, RDNA 2 GPU technology will be used for the chip.
According to
various reports, the S22 will have a 6.06-inch display, while the Galaxy S22
Plus will have a 6.5 to 6.6-inch display, while the S22 Ultra will have a
6.8-inch display.
Similarly, LTPO
technology will also be used for Ultra model OLED displays.
The current
Galaxy S21 Ultra has Infinity O Screen HDR10 Plus certified and 120 Hz refresh
rate support, however the S22 series is likely to use a lower refresh rate to
reduce energy consumption.
