| HOW TO STOP GOOGLE SEARCH YOUR LOCATION |
Use the internet? Ever wonder what Google knows about you? In fact,
this search engine knows everything about you.
Yes, especially if you use most Google apps like Android, Gmail,
Drive, Google Maps, YouTube, Chrome browser and above all Google search.
Even if you keep location history off on your device, Google
usually stores the location of such users, as an IP address is created
depending on the location when the Internet is connected to any device. ۔
Smartphones are also connected to mobile towers so mobile operators
know your general location all the time.
The good news, however, is that you can prevent Google from
monitoring you 7 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How to avoid Google tracking?
In your computer open Google website in any browser and sign in
your gmail acount.
click on your account's
profile picture on the top right corner of the page,After signing in, and click
Manage Your Google Account in the drop-down menu, then the a separate page will
open in a another tab.
There in the Privacy and Personalization box, select Manage Your
Data and Personalization.
Then scroll down to Activity Controls and go to Manage Your
Activity Controls.
There you will see a box called Web & App Activity, which you
can switch off.
Doing so will result in a warning from Google that doing so will
deprive it of the ability to personalize multiple services, however click on
Pause.
What change will that make?
Turning this setting off will prevent Google from storing location
markers and will not be able to collect details from company sources or other
activity.
Turning off the settings not only makes the current location
private but also prevents the company from accessing your IP address and other
sensitive details.
Keep in mind that for certain features like Google Maps, the
company will need access to your location, but turning that setting off will
prevent you from storing activity details.
