There is a lot of work being done by Facebook on messaging apps to automatically delete messages after a certain amount of time.
After introducing self-deleting media and text messages in Messenger and Instagram, a similar feature has now been introduced in the WhatsApp.
The 'View Once' feature has been in beta for several weeks and is now available to all users.
This new feature is unique in relation to the disappearing feature presented in the WhatsApp last year in which messages are erased from the feed inside 7 days.
Photos and videos sent in this new feature can only be viewed once and then the media files disappear.
According to the company, it is possible to take a screenshot of these images without the knowledge of the sender.
In June, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that the feature would be introduced soon, but did not provide details at the time.
WhatsApp has now announced its availability to all users on Twitter and is available to almost everyone.

According to WhatsApp, this feature can be used to send sensitive information such as Wi-Fi password picture.
Whether users do it now or not, there is still a useful addition to the WhatsApp, especially compared to the disappearing feature that takes a week to delete sent messages.
How to use the feature
To use this feature, when you upload a photo or video, you will see the number 1 next to the send button, click on it.
After doing so, send the message and that's it.
The message you sent will be deleted when you open it.
And yes, the image you sent will not show you, just a photo with the number 1 will be written.
According to WhatsApp, you cannot forward, save, star or share photos or videos that have been sent or received under the CoVo Once setting.
Similarly, if a sent photo or video is not opened within 14 days, it will disappear from the chat window.
