This is an important task. There is a lot of encryption there. For newer models, WPA2 is much safer, and WEP is much safer. Choose your encryption correctly.

Sorting PC PC addresses

Mac addresses are a built-in communication device for your device. Similar to IP addresses, except that it cannot be modified. For added security, you can add Mac addresses for all your devices to your wifi network. To do that, find the Mac addresses of your devices. On a PC, use the Prompt command and type "ipconfig / all". You will see your Mac address against the word 'Physical Address'. On your phone, you'll find your Mac address under Connection settings. Just add these Mac addresses to your wifi router administrative settings. Only now these devices will be able to access your wifi.

Lower your Wifi Range

An easy way to do that is to put a router under the bed in a shoe box, or wrap a sheet around its horns. Similarly, you can also switch your wifi router mode to  instead of any other mode.

Upgrade Your Wifi Software

This is as important as the latest updates, and you get new security updates for your router. Check your current firmware version by visiting "your router IP address" and checking it in the admin or dashboard settings.
